Holly Dow, Music Director
Holly has a degree in Music Education from UW-Eau Claire, and works as a music teacher doing elementary general music and middle school choir. She has experience directing various choirs, such as the Waterloo United Methodist Church choir, Elkhorn First United Methodist Church choir, UW-Eau Claire Gospel Choir, and elementary / middle school choirs. She loves playing and learning new instruments, like piano, flute, and ukulele. Additional music interests include musical theater (acting, directing, and backstage), leading community sing alongs, playing in band, and attending concerts.
Her personal philosophy for music education and choral directing is, "Everyone is musical, and music is for everyone." "It is my hope to bring this philosophy to the Bristol Lutheran choir, welcoming anyone with a song in their heart or a desire to sing to the Lord, to sing with us - regardless of experience, age, or skill. A few things I love about the choir we have now is its inclusivity, dedication, as well as its skill & musicianship."
" I will sing to the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live."
